Annual accounts preparation for Leeds small companies
We prepare annual accounts for small limited companies and owner-managed businesses in Leeds and across the UK. The process starts with a review of the bookkeeping and year-end balances, then moves through preparation, director approval and filing.
Accounts, Corporation Tax and deadlines kept together
Annual accounts and the Company Tax Return are related but separate responsibilities. We coordinate the figures, explain the key dates and identify missing or catch-up work before promising a completion date.
- Year-end records and balance review
- Statutory accounts preparation
- Companies House filing support
- Director approval process
- Coordination with Corporation Tax
- Plain-English explanation of the final figures
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps from uncertainty to control.
Review the year
We check the bookkeeping, balances and missing information.
Prepare the accounts
The appropriate accounts are drafted and reviewed.
Explain, approve and file
You approve the final documents before filing.
POL ACCOUNTANCY PRINCIPLE
We explain the scope, fee and next action before you commit—then keep the process visible from start to finish.
When are company accounts due?+
Existing private companies normally file annual accounts within nine months of the financial year end; first-account deadlines differ.
Are annual accounts the same as a Company Tax Return?+
No. Accounts go to Companies House and form part of the information used for the Company Tax Return to HMRC.
Can you prepare accounts if the bookkeeping is incomplete?+
Yes, but catch-up or correction work may be needed and will be scoped separately.
